Hello! For those of you who don't know me, I'm
Barry G. Sumpter, a Freelance Computer Consultant. I am currently looking
for any NEW development project work in the Visual Studio .Net 2005 area.
I've been studying and developing in the VS.NET 2005 area for the past 6 months
and would like to enhance my skills by offering 40 hours of my time FREE OF
CHARGE to NEW projects directed at VS.NET 2005.
Over the next three months I will be dedicating my time to
developing my VS.NET 2005 skills by offering my time and expertise to NEW
development projects work that interests me the most. Again, free of
charge. My remuneration will be in the form of gained experience.
Absolutely no further obligation to you of any sort.
I am a serious software developer who wants to enhance his
VS.NET 2005 skills in VB.NET 2005, ASP.NET 2005, and SQL Server 2005.
MSAccess is acceptable as a database only and NOT for project development
coding.
I am looking for NEW work. Specifically, NOT
maintenance or legacy work, NOT porting from a previous language or project, NOT
decrypting someone else's work, and NOT attempting to connect to, use, take
advantage of, enhance, debug, or start with, existing work.
The NEW projects need to be a valid projects. I can
write basic project specifications if none exist remembering the focus is on
software development. And I'm happy to develop in a RAD environment.
The choice is yours.
Database designed and/or prototype screen snapshots are
welcome.
Although, I am a serious software developer, I want to keep
this casual and prefer to work from my own office and communicate via phone, YIM,
MSN, EMail, or over a coffee at a coffee Shoppe.
What I Want You to Do
If you're not really interested please feel
free to pass this on to someone who might be.
Be a serious contact for VS.NET work. Be
interested in the projects you put forward. Be available to discuss issues
which may arise.
Have a non-critical and open-ended project in
mind.
Any size business or personal projects will be considered.
Allow me to work from my office as I prefer to focus on the
work and not the office politics of the day.
I ask that you afford me the respect, patience, and
consideration of any serious software developer.
And I will return the
same to you as an employer.
Be open and honest and not feel as if your taking advantage
of me.
However, if you just want someone to kick around or
ridicule then
please don't bother contacting me.
That's it. No further contact from me unless initiated
by you. No future obligations or cold calls looking for future paid work.
What You Get in Return
- Daily, weekly, or project milestone reporting on the progress. At your
request.
- An excellent start on any large project or a completed smaller project.
- Any and all source code. All intellectual rights for the same.
(I'm happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement.)
- A running prototype when applicable. Whether DLL, Win Forms, or Web
Forms.
For more information, please Contact Me with your specific questions or comments.
Thanks
for stopping by!
My availability is often limited, so while I still encourage
you to get in touch with me to discuss how I might help you, please be aware
that I may not be in a position to provide the services you
need immediately. I am now primarily focused on NEW development projects, consulting,
and research in the VS.NET 2005 area.
