I am proud to offer the following services
to my clients. For general pricing information please

quote on a specific project.
By far the biggest demand I've seen from
my clients is a need for assistance in creating and maintaining
a "Web Presence". The Internet has made a huge impact on the
way people do business, and any company wishing to be successful
in the future must find a way to take advantage of this wonderful
technology. Following are some of the general types of web sites
that you might need (please note that any or all of these types
may be incorporated into the same web site):
Sometimes referred to as "brochure-ware",
the Information Only site exists to simply provide visitors
with access to basic information about your organization or
company. These are typically the easiest and cheapest sites
to build, because they are all about content rather than function.
These sites are best for companies which are just starting out
with a web presence, which do not intend to sell products or
services online, or which prefer to engage their visitors in
personal versus electronic contact.
Web sites that allow visitors to purchase
products or services online (for example, Amazon.com) engage
in E-Commerce. These sites are best for companies that do have
products or services to sell and wish to expand their potential
market worldwide. These sites are typically the most expensive
to build, because they rely heavily on cutting-edge functionality
such as "shopping carts", online real-time credit card processing,
and other complicated elements. However, when designed properly
to make it easy for customers to spend money with you, these
sites can pay for themselves many times over very quickly.
Some organizations or businesses can deliver
services directly to their members or customers, without necessarily
selling anything. For example, many financial institutions now
provide online banking services to their customers, allowing
them to check account balances and so forth over the Web. Depending
on the complexity of the types of services you'd like to provide,
these sites can range from a simple "Knowledge Base" of answers
to common customer questions, to highly sophisticated information
interfaces to your business database.
Depending on your specific situation, you
may need one, two, or all three of the above functions for your
website. I will help you decide the most appropriate direction
to take, and help you understand how you can use the Internet
to enhance and expand your business in a highly professional
manner. I will help you avoid the common pitfalls that can make
technology a barrier instead of a bridge between you and your
customers. Most of all, I will listen to you and learn to understand
the particulars of your business needs. In the end, you
will have a unique presence on the Web that works to make your
life easier, and serves to bring your customers closer to you.
If you'd like to receive a quote on a specific
Web Design project, please fill out as much information in the
following form as you can and I will respond as soon as possible.
(I know it's a lot to enter, but the more information I have
the more accurate my estimate will be!) If you are not interested
in Web Design, please try my Software
or Consulting quote forms.
I have found that most clients prefer to
receive bids on a per-project rather than per-hour basis, and
just as each project is unique to that client's situation, so
too are the costs involved. However, one of my personal pet
peeves is when a web site doesn't provide any pricing
information, so you can review a listing of my standard
rates if you'd like.
If you have a question unrelated to a specific
project, or if you just wish to provide a comment, please use
my Contact page instead.
